External Returns

Overview

Processing an external return allows you book in a return for orders that were not shipped from Mintsoft.

Input External Return

Navigate to Returns > Input Return and hit External Return: 

Then log some basic info about the return (Please Note: The fields here can be configured by going to Settings => Extra Fields): 

The next screen will prompt the user to input the products on the return, from a dropdown, and then select the destination warehouse for the return:

Please note, it is not possible to book a return into a Bonded Warehouse. The following warning will appear if a bonded warehouse is selected:

Once all items have been added, confirm the return:

Next the user will be prompted to assign return locations:

Once locations have been assigned, the 'Complete Return' button will appear:

This will have completed the return and the items will be booked in.
