DPD Offer Fulfillment services as well as couriers so it's possible to use them to fulfil orders for you.
DPD Warehouse integration is advanced and would need involvement from someone on the DPD side to start the process.
Flows:
Exporting Orders:
Any orders in New Status (Stock Allocated) and a valid Courier Service Allocated against the order will attempt to be exported to DPD.
If when we attempt to export to DPD it fails and we get a user friendly error e.g. invalid postcode, invalid service for selected service. An Order Error alert will be raised in Mintsoft. You'd then need to correct the error and update the order. We will then try to export it to DPD again
Sometimes we might get an error back from DPD that is not user friendly. In this case the order will be moved to Awaiting Confirmation. DPD support will need to advise what the issue with this is - The messages we send and receive can be found under order comments.
If the order is successfully exported to DPD it will get moved to "Printed" status in Mintsoft.
DPD would then pick and pack the order. Once they despatch we get a message back which contains the tracking number. When this is received the order will be marked as despatched and tracking number updated. This info would then be also sent back to the orginal source e.g. shopify etc.
Courier Mapping:
DPD warehouse has a range of service codes. We map these in Mintsoft using External Courier Service Names. This translates the Name in Mintsoft to the service code that DPD requires.
Product Code Mapping:
If DPD use different SKUs in the warehouse to what you use on Mintsoft you'll need to set up ALT codes against these products so we can translate the product codes when sending to DPD.

You might also find it useful to use the Report - "Products Without Alt Code" to give you a list of the products that are missing the alt codes.
Cancelling Orders:
If you cancel an Order that is in printed status. This would mean we have already sent the order to DPD for fulfillment. We can send a message to DPD to cancel this order but might not always be possible e.g. missed the cut off time etc.
