Overview
This section explains how to discontinue (hide from view) or delete products that are no longer needed.
| ⓘ Note: You can only delete a product if it has NEVER been allocated to an order and is NOT associated with an ASN. |
Deleting a Product
To delete a product;
- Navigate to Products > Overview
- Search for the product you wish to delete, use the filters or select from the list on screen
- Tick the products to delete
- On the bulk actions drop down pick Delete then Go.
As long as the product has never been included in an order or attributed to an ASN, a success message will appear.
Discontinuing a Product
If a product is not longer used by a client and they do no want it displayed when inputting an order manually, the product can be discontinued.
To discontinue a product;
- Navigate to Products > Overview
- Search for the product you wish to discontinue, use the filters or select from the list on screen
- Tick the product(s) to discontinue
- On the bulk actions drop down pick Discontinue then Go.
Alternatively you can discontinue a product by going into the edit menu (Actions > Edit) and toggling the discontinued flag on the General tab:
