User types allow you to create a range of user types for both admin & client users with a list of user role permissions pre-assigned.
e.g. if you have a warehouse user that should only be able to perform picking actions.
This then makes the process of adding similar user accounts in the future much quicker.
Depending on which type of user type you want to create you need to Navigate to Settings > Warehouse users, or Settings > Client Users
Then click the User Types button, in the top right:
Then click Add User Type, again in the top right.
Enter a name for your User Type and tick the roles you want to assign to the type, then click create:
Assigning Types to Users
You can only assign types to new user accounts created - either manually or by upload.
When you create a user - select the relevant user type you want to assign:
The roles will then be automatically allocated on the next screen, but you can amend if necessary
