Per Cubic Metre (CBM) Pick Charging

Overview

If you pick very large orders for a client it could be desired to charge for picking based on the total order volume of the order in Cubic Metres (CBM).

Setup

Its very simple to setup this method of picking charging.

First you need to make sure that all products for the required client(s) have dimensions stored against them e.g.:

On the client settings (clients > overview), edit the client required and change the Picking Calculation Type to Per Cubic Metre:

Then, enter the cubic metre pick rate lower down the screen;

Calculation

You can see the total order cubic metre calculation by viewing the order details:

In my example the total CBM is 1.25 and my CBM picking rate is £2.50, so total charge is £3.125 (we can only do pricing in 2DP) so will round down to £3.12 on the invoice table.
