Amazon Valid Tracking Rate (VTR)

Overview

Amazon has introduced Valid Tracking Rates (VTR) to its seller performance metrics. You can read more about this here:

Crucially this means that they will only count fulfilment updates from Mintsoft as being valid, if the courier/carrier name we provide matches their carrier name.

A lot of these values match the default courier name values in Mintsoft e.g. "Royal Mail", however some differ.

For example, Amazon have set their value as "Parcel Force" with a space in the middle, but in Mintsoft the default value is all one word: "Parcelforce"

External Name Mapping

Where the names differ you would need to create External Name mapping in Shipping > Extras > External Courier Service Names

Then add the mappings required as per below for Amazon - you only need to select the overall courier as per screen shot - and not the individual service;

Other Couriers

If you use a courier name that is not on the list of valid carrier names from Amazon in the link above, then you should complete external mappings to your couriers in Mintsoft with a name of Other
