Overview
Despatch notes can be setup specifically for each client & / or channel.
So for example you (or your client) can tailor different promotional messages to be sent to web, ebay or amazon customers.
The template can be easily amended to be a simple despatch note, or can have VAT breakdown pricing displayed to be made an invoice (note: not supported on all channels)
Create Despatch Note
To create a custom design navigiate to settings (gear icon top right) > despatch note settings:
Then click add new despatch note:
Design & Add Images
There are two sections of the despatch note you can edit by uploading images
1) The top section above the order details, that spans the full width. (image pxl dimensions 1475 x 350)
2) A bottom section again that spans the full width of the despatch note, which appears beneath the product information. (image pxl dimensions 1475 x 200)
The best way to create the images for despatch notes is to start off with a blank image file for the correct dimensions and then paste over additional image content, and re-size the image contents to fit the blank template.
You can download blank templates for the correct dimensions here:

Once you have created your despatch note images, you can now choose the specific channel (if preferred) and then upload them to the despatch note template.
Simply browse and upload each file to the correct size:
Display Pricing
Depending on the source of where the orders imported from e.g. (Ebay, Amazon, Woo, Shopify, etc) varying levels of pricing information can be shown.
VAT!
Not all sources will provide a VAT breakdown- and Ebay and Amazon will need an option ticked on the connection level to breakdown VAT - see this guide to do this:
To show pricing on your despatch note paperwork - simply tick the option to "show pricing" at the top of the section:
The pricing will now be displayed:
Returns Address
Lastly you may want to enter a returns address if desired & then update in the bottom right:
Please make sure to separate lines by a comma only on the returns address, otherwise if spaced out on separate lines each - Royal Mail confuse this for delivery address.
Once created you can hit preview (you must have at least one order on the system to preview) over on the right to check out your work:
Preview then loads on screen:
