Royal Mail Integration (via Intersoft)

Integration Summary:
 

  • UK Shipping
  • Europe Shipping
  • Worldwide Shipping (non-EU)
  • Commercial Invoice Documents (CN23)
  • Electronic pre-advice
  • Delivery confirmation for standard parcels

 

Charges

There are applicable charges for using this account on top of base Mintsoft package - please contact your account manager to discuss.

 

Credentials


If you are a new customer, you will need to supply the below information to your on boarding consultant.

If you are an existing customer, you will need to supply the below information on a support case via support portal.

We will need the following information:

  1. Your RM Account number

  2. Registered email address for OBA (you may need to register for OBA: https://www.royalmail.com/enquire-register-oba) 

  3. Your RM Posting Location (numeric ID starting with 9)

  4. Registered address for RM account

 

Department References

This connection supports department references if you want to map delivery charges for clients to cost centres on your Royal Mail Invoices.

Please contact support to setup mapping for you.

Department codes will need to be added to both the Mintsoft connection and Intersoft Maintenance.

 

CN22 vs CN23

Q:  Should we get CN22 with Royal Mail labels?

A:  Working in agreement with Royal Mail, Intersoft Intelligent Shipper® only produces a CN23. This is to simplify the process and reduce the need for different labels and designs. The CN23 contains all the content required in a CN22 plus the extra requirements demanded of a CN23, so regardless of value we can have one document that works across the board.
