Allocating orders & clients to channels enables a number of advanced additional features within the system.
Using split channels enables:
- Branded despatch notes by channel
- Branded despatch emails by channel
- Pricing models by channel
- Product & sales reporting by channel
- Filtering & process orders by channel
They are used mainly to separate brands or order sources.
The system comes with set channels setup for the main sales sources such as Shopify, Ebay & Amazon.
Create New Channel
To set channels up, please navigate to Orders > Channels > Add New Channel:
Then you can choose to allocate the channel to all available clients, or restrict it to a certain client if it only relates to them:
Then just click add, now you will have a list of channels created.
Now - when you add a connection to external source (ebay / amazon / shopify / etc) - you will be able to determine the channel it relates to:
So now when you are viewing order data you can drill down by channel type:
