Scan for Shipping / Courier Label

Overview

You can setup the system to automatically produce and print a shipping label simply by scanning the order ID barcode printed on the despatch note / invoice.

Automatic Settings

Once you have the printing tool installed it is very easy to setup the system to use scan for label functionality - all you have to do is enable 2 user settings:

Auto Despatch Setting

With these two settings enabled, the system will automatically request a shipping label on receipt of a order ID barcode scan and then automatically despatch the order once shipment is created and printed. 

Generate Shipping Label

Now simply print your order from the Orders > Overview screen or create a batch of orders in Picking > Manage Batches.

Once you have printed some orders, navigate to Picking > Order Picking and scan your first order ID barcode.

If successful the label will automatically print and you will receive an info notice advising that the order has been successfully despatched and you can now scan your next order ID barcode:
