Drop Ship Products

Overview

When drop ship products are setup in the system - this will mean any orders received for those products will be ignored for despatch by the fulfilment warehouse.

The system can also (optionally) send an alert to the drop ship supplier that the product is allocated to.

You can have multiple drop ship suppliers and allocate groups of products to each supplier.

If an order contains two or more items and one item is to be fulfilled by the fulfilment warehouse using mintsoft and the other items are drop ship - then mintsoft will split the order and despatch accordingly. 

Drop Ship Suppliers

Firstly - you need to create a drop ship supplier, navigate to Products > Drop Ship Products  (you may need this role adding to your account by admin user) and click the Suppliers button to add a Drop Ship Supplier:

Click add new supplier:

Then enter the supplier details (email is optional if you want email alerts sent to this drop shipper)

Once you have created the supplier you can now manage products and allocate products to it by clicking the green button on the right hand side;

Click add new product Then enter the product code and name and tick active (you can also de-activate at a later date);

Then click create -

Mark Inactive

If you need to start fulfilling orders for these products, you can hit the Actions button then Mark Inactive:

You can also upload drop ship products in bulk by navigating to Products > Extras > Upload Additional Info
