Overview
You can automatically manipulate the stock figures that Mintsoft provides to any channels that has Stock Sync enabled using stock feed rules.
Useful scenarios for this feature would be where you need to limit your stock levels due to Ebay listing restrictions or where you always want to report an item in stock, even when you don't physically have the item in your warehouse but could source easily when you get an order.
To set these up - navigate to Products > Extras > Stock Feed Rules
Minimum Based Rule
You would typically use this apply this where you always want to report a stock level available, even when you have no physical stock in your warehouse.
So even if your physical stock level was 0, we could always report 10 units when we push the stock sync to the channel.
When you add the stock rule, just select the product & channel, then set rule type to MIN and the minimum level you want to report:
Maximum Based Rule
You would typically use this apply this where you want to provide a capped amount of stock to a channel - typically on Ebay for example if you have a maximum listing value available.
So even if your physical stock level was 1000 units for a product, it could be capped to 100.
When you add the stock rule, just select the product & channel, then set rule type to MAX and the maximum level you want to report:
Zero Based Rule
You would use a Zero rule to automatically trigger your item to go out of stock on a Channel when it hits a certain level - perhaps in very busy periods when the item is selling quickly on multiple channels to prevent over-sales.
In our example below - when our Red Scissors gets below 2 units of stock(OnHand) in Mintsoft, the system will automatically flag the item as out of stock on Amazon:
