Overview
It is possible for the system to send automated despatch emails on behalf of your clients.
The emails can be sent with your clients domain and branding so it has no relation to the system branding or fulfilment house.
You will need a mailgun account to use this service a - https://www.mailgun.com/
This service is free up to 10,000 emails per month.
You will need to add some DNS records to your domain hosting panel to link your mailgun account to your domain.
You need to have advanced understanding of email servers and domains to use this feature - our support team are unable to help using this feature.
Add Email Login
To set this up please go to Settings > Email Templates
Then click create new email login:
Now enter your mailgun API key and domain.
Make sure the MailGunDomain is just the end part e.g. "mg.mintsoft.co.uk" so would be "mg.{yourdomain.co.uk}"
Newer MailGun Accounts could be setup on either the US or EU Endpoint whereas older accounts would have all used the US Endpoint.
Add Email Template
Once you have created a login, you can now add a template:
Then you can enter specifics such as what channel the despatch relates to, who the email is coming from & the display name:
You an even enter a BCC address if you want someone to receive copies of the emails.
Next you can enter the actual message that gets sent to the customer and include # terms as displayed to include information about the order and tracking information.
The full list of tags you can use is: #ORDERNO# , #FIRSTNAME# , #LASTNAME#, #TRACKINGNO#, #COURIERNAME#, #TRACKINGLINK#, #DELIVERYNOTES#
Raw HTML
If you are an advanced user or have a web design agency you can simply paste your HTML into the raw HTML box - again making use of the hashtags to personalise the data being sent
Attach PDF Option
If you want to attach a PDF of the OMS despatch note you should enter TRUE in this field, otherwise enter FALSE if you do not want the attachment to be sent:
Now simply click save and you will see the template stored
