Add Client User
Once you have added a client, you now need to create client users in order to allow your client access to the system.
To do this, navigate to Settings > Client User Accounts
Then select add client user:
Then select the client name, enter desired username, email address.
Email Address for Username
We recommend using the email address as the username as well to avoid issues of clients forgetting their usernames
Assign Roles to the User
Once you have created your user, you then need to allocate system roles to their account so they can access the various areas of the system.
Just tick the roles you want the user to have and click update:
Once done lick update and it will then give the user access to the roles assigned.
Guide to Client User Roles
Accounts = user can see accounts section and view confirmed invoice data only - they cannot see unconfirmed invoice data.
Products = user can view, add & edit product data - but they cannot adjust stock.
Client-DeleteProducts = user can delete products
Orders = user can view old orders & place new orders.
Client-Editorders = user can edit orders in specific statuses (requires additional setup in customer account settings)
ASN = user can view & place goods in ASNs (purchase orders)
Shipping = user can view, edit & create shipping rules & mappings.
Adding User to Notifications
Once you have added roles, you may wish to setup the user to receive system alerts.
The user can also set this up themselves by logging and viewing their own settings.
To setup yourself as an admin user, navigate to Clients > Overview > (Search for Client) > Actions > Change Notification settings
Then place your mouse cursor in the box for the relevant notification type and select the user from the list to add to the alert:
Then click save in the bottom right.
