Customs Information
When shipping outside the EU you may want to use these product fields for customs clearance:
Customs Description (basically a short description of the product - e.g. Jeans, maximum length is 50 characters)
Country Of Manufacture
Commodity Code
We also recommend to enter the client address & VAT number on client settings
Paperless Trade
When you see PLT on the DHL shipping label - this means you do not need to print a paper commercial invoice as paperless trade is available for that destination. When PLT is not available - the system will automatically print a paper commercial invoice for you to an A4 printer if you have one specified on your courier printing tool.
If you are using the batch process to bulk print DHL labels, the labels will bulk print on a thermal printer and any commercial invoices that are required for non-PLT covered shipments will also bulk print at the same time on an A4 printer.
Automatic Rate Retrieval
To use the Automatic Rate Retrieval from DHL ("Use DHL Postage Cost to Invoice), this requires the use of the Variable Uplift Pricing. Please see guide Here.
Client Name
The client name on the shipping labels is obtained from the Order.Client.Name
