Additional invoice items can be used as a method to capture ad-hoc charges for clients or can be linked to automated recurring billing to add to running invoices for clients.
Add Invoice Item Type
To add an invoice type - please navigate to Account > Overview > Manage Invoice Item Types:
You can set the types as anything you see fit that you may regularly charge for, such as packaging / container unloading / account management etc.
Just type the name in the box for the charge, enter a rate and then choose the charge type it applies to.
You can leave it in Generic or select one of the other main groups such as Goods In, Packaging, Shipping etc:
This will now appear in your list of items that you can bill clients for on an ad-hoc basis or the recurring charge feature.
The charge will appear in the additional items grid along with the charge type:
