With this storage charging method enabled, the system will automatically select the highest possible storage point for the charging period.
This method only currently works with location type based storage charging - see guide here for this:
Location Type Charging Setup (pallet storage charging)
E.g. if client storage period is weekly, system will analyse which day the highest storage point was reached for that week for all types of locations and used this to bill for the weeks storage in order to maximize the storage revenue charged for the client.
Example:
Monday = 100 Pallets
Tuesday = 150 Pallets
Wednesday = 200 Pallets
Thursday = 50 Pallets
Friday = 50 Pallets
Saturday = 50 Pallets
Sunday = 50 Pallets
Monday = 20 Pick Bins
Tuesday = 10 Pick Bins
Wednesday = 15 Pick Bins
Thursday = 25 Pick bins
Friday = 10 Pick Bins
Saturday = 10 Pick Bins
Sunday = 10 Pick Bins
Total storage charged for week = 200 pallets + 25 pick bins
To enable this, navigate to Clients > Edit Client > Storage Tab > Select the option "Highest Point Storage"
note: requires location ID/Type setup in place
View Recorded Storage Points
You can view the data the system is logging every day in order to select the highest point for the period, for the client by navigating to Accounting > Overview > Location type storage records;
A grid containing a count of all location IDs separated by type will be displayed per day;
