Adding Packaging & Packing Instructions

Overview

You can setup specific messages relating to packaging and packing a clients goods that will popup automatically at the point of despatch.

There are two levels of applying this - either product specific (each product gets a specific message) and client specific (every order for this client will get the same message popup)

Client Specific Packaging Instructions

To setup a client specific packaging instruction to appear on all order dispatches - please navigate to Clients > Actions > Edit client > Defaults Tab

Then scroll down & enter the instruction as needed:

To setup product specific packaging instructions please navigate to Products > Overview > Edit Product > Extra Details Tab

Packing Messages Appear on Scan Actions

Now when you despatch an order using Picking > Order Picking for this client and/or product it will popup with an info-warning that the packer must acknowledge before they get the shipping label:
