Overview
It is possible to select a default courier for individual products so that when they are ordered, the default courier service will always get applied regardless of shipping rules or mapping setup.
This can be set to apply when this product is ordered on its own (single line order) or alternatively if this SKU is contained in an order containing other products too by selecting the tick box 'Apply if product is contained in multiple line order'. You can do this manually on each product or in bulk via a spreadsheet upload.
Use with caution!
This method of determining the courier service can be dangerous as it will override any rules or mapping setup separately.
